Who are our classes suitable for?

This fun workshop is suitable for everyone! Particularly if you are interested in re-using, re-purposing materials and love making something out of the ordinary.

Learn how to turn old broken jewellery, vintage and found objects into fabulous pieces of jewellery with us. This class is a great way to see if you enjoy jewellery making and is suitable for complete beginners or anyone with previous experience and wants to learn how to add a new dimension to their jewellery pieces.

What will you make?

Anything you like, that’s the fun part – from stunning pair of earrings out of re-cycled metal and beads to a statement necklace out of cogs and vintage finds. You will learn a range of jewellery making techniques including hammering, embossing, stamping and wire wrapping to combine with re-cycled materials and found objects. We will show you how to add charms to your pieces and learn how to make and add findings to complete and show off your individual designs.

Our jewellery making facilities.

We have a well-equipped traditional jewellery workshop with a wide variety of machinery and hand tools. We also have a good selection of specialist tools. Students work at their own individual jewellery bench, and we also have larger communal workbenches.

What’s included?

All materials including beads, buttons, re-cycled jewellery, base metal and wire to complete 2 pieces of jewellery are provided and included in the cost of this workshop. You can bring along any broken or odd bits that you have, to personalise your pieces but this is not essential. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also included. The workshop is fun and informative, and no previous experience is needed. Small class sizes ensure individual tuition from your qualified experienced tutor.

  • Your booking fee secures your place, either paid via our website or by bank transfer- we cannot reserve places without payment.
  • You have the statutory 14 days to cancel or amend your booking. 
  • After this time a 50% refund or the option to switch to another workshop will be offered if made more than one month before the workshop date.
  • No refunds will be offered less then one month before the workshop commences.
  • If we cancel a workshop for any reason, you will be entitled to a full refund.
